Q. What comes with your meals?
A. We provide you with your protein and starch for your meal plus all the other recipe ingredients required to cook your meal.  Some meals have vegetables as well. (You may need a tbsp or two of oil, if required)  All ingredients are precut and proportioned accordingly. The meals are not processed food – they are made with fresh ingredients and with no added preservatives. The meals are not precooked.  Your meal packages will contain all the fresh, precut, proportioned meal ingredients needed.  It is then frozen for your convenience.

Q. Can I order a vegetable with my meal?
A. Many of the meals do come with vegetables or may have vegetable options. You may choose to add a vegetable to your meal at time of purchase. Pick your meal and your options will come available. That way the choice is up to you. Not all meals will have vegetable options; it depends on the menu selection.

Q. What does the meal packages consist of?
A. We provide each meal frozen in its own container. Clearly labeled on the containers are the instructions on how to cook your meal. All items are sealed individually inside for optimum freshness. We have already done all the chopping and assembly of the meal – all you have to do is cook it.  And many times you can use the tray supplied to cook your meal – saving on dishes.

Q. How long does it take to cook a meal?
A. Most meals, once defrosted, will take between 20-40 minutes to cook. But this may vary based on the meal. Please see our menu selection for individual cooking times.

Q. How do I purchase meals?
A. You may order online for delivery or pick up.  Delivery is scheduled for Monday and Thursday evenings.  Pick up is available at Knox Mountain Market, 857 Ellis Street, Kelowna, BC.  Once you order online you will receive an email order confirmation.

Q. How many people does each meal feed?
A. Our menu selection includes three menu options 1) Small – feeds 2 people, 2) Medium – feeds 4 people, and 3) Large – feeds 6 people; depending on appetites.

Q. Can I order as many meals as I want?
A. There is no minimum order for pick up at Knox Mountain Market.  We ask that you order a minimum of $100 for delivery.  Keep in mind that if you order more than $275 you will receive 10% off.

Q. When I order online, when will my order be ready?
A. All orders must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance please. When ordering, please keep in mind that we are closed weekends and Holidays. Please note we need 48 hours within our hours of business.  For example if you order Monday night at 8:00 pm, we will receive your order on Tuesday am - we need 48 hours from the Tuesday am so the order will be ready on Thursday.  Also when ordering on the weekend we will receive your orders on Monday am, 48 hours later - it will be ready for Wednesday.  Extra large orders may require more time for preparation but we will contact you if we have any concerns on timing once we receive your order.

Q. Do I have to order online?
A. No, you may email, phone or fax (250-860-5894) an order based on the website menus (menu available by fax as well).

Q. Do you offer a discount if I order or purchase more meals?
A. Yes, if you order and pay for a minimum of $275 at one time, you will receive a 10% discount.

Q. When do you deliver?
A. Delivery is available on Monday and Thursday evenings. Delivery charges are as follows: Zone A: $0, Zone B: $4, Zone C: $8, Zone D: $12, for beyond this Zone, please contact us. Click here to see the zones.

Someone must be home to receive the delivery. If Monday or Thursday is not a good day for you please contact us and we will try to accommodate your schedule. Please contact us via email or 250-860-3555 if you have any questions. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS UP TO DATE WITH CURRENT DELIVERY ADDRESS.

Q. How do I pay with a gift certificate?
A. You can order just the same as usual and select the gift certificate payment option. Please put your gift certificate number in the comments section when you order. You must provide the gift certificate at time of pick up or delivery.

Q. Can I cancel my order?
A. Of course, please contact us 24 hours prior to pick up or delivery to reschedule or cancel the order.

Q. Do I need to join anything or become a member?
A. We ask that once you are ready to place your order you sign in to your secured account, which will have your related information to place your order. Our system does not ask for your credit card information, you pay at time of pick up or delivery.

Q. Do you deliver to Big White or Silver Star?
A. We have teamed up with Vacation Foods for delivery to both Big White and Silver Star. 

Q. Is your packaging recyclable?
A. Our packaging is 100% recyclable.  Clean tins, plastic containers, and Ziploc bags can go in your blue bins.  Yes, even your clean Ziploc bags.

Q. Can I pick up meals without placing an order?
A. Knox Mountain Market, 857 Ellis Street, has a small amount of meals available for your convenience.  Please drop by or contact them at 250-762-2881to find out what they have available.

Q. How often does the menu change?
A. Our menu changes every two months for added variety. 

Q. Can I have an order delivered to someone else?
A. Definitely, we can delivery a gift to someone else.  Please put their name, address and phone number in the comments section when you order.  We will contact you directly regarding receiving payment for the order.
